Safety Culture Survey

Safety Culture Survey (PDF 2.3 MB)

Please note the survey limitations:

Please note that this survey has limitations derived from the scope and methodology. The survey's primary aim was to establish a baseline regarding people's beliefs and attitudes to a safety culture. It is high level and broad based, stemming from short phone interviews with 1001 people. The survey does not cover intentional injuries as this information was deemed too sensitive to collect via a phone interview. No children under the age of 15 were interviewed, as written parental consent would have been required. This survey is supported by in-depth studies undertaken in specific sectors such as road and workplace.
